Japanese Miso Eggplant

Ingredients:
4 Japanese Eggplants
50ml Mirin
100g Sweet Miso
1 TSP sugar
Instructions:
Cut eggplants in half lengthwise
Score eggplants by making diagonal cuts
To make miso sauce, mix in 50ml mirin, 100g sweet miso, and 1 TSP sugar
Steam eggplant for 4 minutes
Cover the scored eggplant with the miso sauce
Broil or grill for 4 minutes
